“In 1979 in the village of Rudravanam, a couple named Venkata Chalapathy and his wife faced a brutal assault by villagers who believed their eerie rituals were causing deaths. The dying woman cursed the village, predicting its destruction in twelve years. Their son Bhairava was sent to an orphanage. In 1991, Anasuyamma and her son Surya visit Rudravanam to contribute land for a school and attend the annual carnival. Strange events unfold as a resident dies, leading to a lockdown. Surya, separated from his family, investigates mysterious suicides and infections. He uncovers Bhairava’s involvement.
The village priest suggests sacrificing Nandini to end the curse. Surya, determined to save her, unravels the truth: Nandini is Chalapathy’s daughter seeking revenge with Bhairava’s help. Surya confronts Nandini but ultimately stops the curse by sacrificing her. In the end, the village transforms Chalapathy’s house into a school, breaking taboos. Surya, holding Nandini’s pendant, hints at supernatural powers.”
