Varsham (2004): Plot
Venkat, an unemployed young man, meets Sailaja on a train journey, and they fall in love. Sailaja also catches the eye of Bhadranna, a dangerous politician. Venkat and Sailaja continue to meet during the rain, deepening their love. Sailaja’s father agrees to Bhadranna’s marriage proposal, thinking it’s a better deal than acting in films. Venkat and Sailaja are separated when she starts a film career. Bhadranna kidnaps Sailaja, and Venkat fights to rescue her. Sailaja realizes her mistake, and they reconcile. In the end, Bhadranna dies, and Venkat and Sailaja reunite.
