Pisaasu (2014) : Plot
In “Pisaasu,” Siddharth (Naga) witnesses a tragic accident and tries to save a girl, but she dies in his arms. Traumatized, he becomes depressed. Strange occurrences happen in his apartment, and he senses a supernatural presence. After failed attempts to exorcise the ghost, Siddharth realizes it may be the spirit of the girl he couldn’t save. He seeks her family and discovers her name is Bhavani. He learns that she’s trying to protect him, not harm him. Siddharth and his friends investigate Bhavani’s death and find that he was the accidental killer. Guilt-ridden, Siddharth attempts suicide, but Bhavani’s spirit saves him by cremating her preserved body, allowing her to move on. Her father consoles Siddharth, recognizing his kind heart.
