Mohini (2018): Plot
Vaishnavi, a famous YouTube chef, goes to London with her friend Ambuja’s fiancé, Cotton, to help him get a chef job. They stay with friends Ganesh and Madhu and work at a restaurant. Vaishnavi becomes possessed by Mohini, a vengeful spirit. She goes on a killing spree but meets Sandeep. When Sandeep’s family announces him as their heir, Mohini seeks revenge against Sandeep’s father, KVR, and his associates. She was an architect who fought child trafficking but was killed. Mohini’s spirit possesses Vaishnavi and wants to eliminate KVR’s lineage. Sandeep’s family seeks help from a Buddhist monk. Mohini’s mother performs a ritual to appease her spirit, sacrificing her own life. Mohini’s spirit is finally at peace, leaving Vaishnavi and Sandeep. Later, it is shown that Mohini’s spirit continues to protect children, possessing Neha to do so.
