Chatrapathi (2005): Plot
Parvati, a loving woman in Sri Lanka, raises two sons, Sivaji and Ashok, with equal affection. Ashok becomes jealous of Sivaji, leading to a tragic incident where he lies about Sivaji’s death during a coastal fire, causing their separation. Sivaji ends up in Vizag, ruled by the ruthless Baji Rao, who exploits refugees. Years later, Sivaji, now a strong and fierce young man, still yearns to find Parvati. When a violent clash with Baji Rao’s henchman results in a child’s death, Sivaji takes matters into his own hands, killing Baji Rao and earning the name “Chatrapathi.” Baji Rao’s brother, Ras Bihari, arrives seeking revenge, while Ashok also reaches Vizag, discovering Sivaji is his brother. He teams up with Ras Bihari against Sivaji. Despite the odds, Sivaji reunites with Parvati and defeats Ras Bihari, safeguarding the port. Ashok realizes his mistake, reconciles with Sivaji and Parvati, and they live happily ever after.
