Devasena defends herself when Sethupathi misbehaves and is banished with Amarendra. A conspiracy turns Sivagami against Amarendra, leading to his assassination. Kattappa kills him, and Bhallaladeva is revealed as the mastermind. Sivagami regrets her actions, and Devasena escapes with her son. Bhallaladeva becomes a ruthless ruler, holding Devasena captive for 25 years.Mahendra Bahubali, their son, hears the story and declares war. With Kattappa’s help, they defeat Bhallaladeva, and Mahendra becomes the new king, bringing peace and justice to Mahishmati.
