His world revolves around his sister, Thanga Meenatchi, but arranging her marriage is a challenge due to his reputation. Meenatchi’s wedding is arranged with Nattadurai’s brother without her consent. On the wedding day, she tries to elope but is caught. Kaalaiyan lets her go. Meenatchi moves to Kolkata with her husband but faces financial troubles. Kaalaiyan secretly watches over her. He uncovers a dangerous past: her husband refused a businessman’s offer, and their lives unraveled. Meenatchi is pregnant and seeks Kaalaiyan’s help to save her husband. Kaalaiyan, under the alias Annaatthe, confronts the businessman, forces him to make amends, and spares his life. In a final showdown, Manoj, the businessman, commits suicide, and Kaalaiyan tracks down and defeats his brother Udhav. Kaalaiyan reveals his true identity to Meenatchi, and she apologizes for the troubles she caused.
