Chalo (2018): Plot
The story begins with a man in jail, sharing how he sent his son, Hari, to Tirupur to deter his love for fighting. When Hari arrives at college, he ends up helping the Tamil group in a fight against Telugu students, making new friends. He falls for a girl named Karthika, who also reciprocates his feelings but wants her parents’ approval for marriage. However, Hari inadvertently assists Karthika’s father’s rival and discovers an ongoing conflict between Tamil and Telugu communities since 1953, with Karthika being Tamil.
