Liger (2022): Plot
After his father’s death, Sashwath Agarwal, known as Liger, moves to Mumbai with his mother, Balamani, to pursue MMA. He falls for Tanya but she leaves due to his stammer. Liger wins the national championship and advances to the International Championship, sponsored by Tanya’s father. Tanya is kidnapped, and Liger learns it’s due to her father’s debt to a gangster. Liger decides to save her, missing the final match. He faces his MMA idol, Mark Anderson, to rescue Tanya and wins. Impressed, Anderson takes a photo and lets them go. The MMA jury declares it the final match, making Liger a World Champion.
