Ninnu Kori (2017): Plot
Pallavi, a student in Vizag, reunites with her ex-lover, Uma, during her first wedding anniversary celebration in Los Angeles. Surprisingly, despite not being naturally talented, they win a dance competition together. Uma becomes a pillar of support for Pallavi, helping her with various challenges. Pallavi decides to move to her family’s penthouse so she can provide Uma with tutoring classes. However, Uma is not eligible for marriage and asks Pallavi for permission to go study in New Delhi. Pallavi eventually marries Arun, but she later discovers that Uma is struggling with depression and alcoholism.
In the present, Pallavi expresses her desire to leave with Uma. They go to visit Uma in San Francisco, where they uncover Arun’s infidelity and the tragic news of Uma’s suicide.
