Kanthaswamy (2009): Plot
Kanthaswamy, a CBI officer, helps people in need by taking on a disguise as a rooster. During one operation, he finds a hidden stash of illegal money belonging to an arrogant businessman named Ponnusamy and his partner Rajmohan. To avoid getting caught by the police, Ponnusamy fakes a stroke. Ponnusamy’s daughter, Subbulakshmi, decides to get back at Kanthaswamy by pretending to be in love with him. However, Kanthaswamy outsmarts Subbulakshmi and gets the password to transfer the money into his account. By doing this, he bankrupts Ponnusamy.
As the story unfolds, Kanthaswamy learns about Rajmohan’s true intentions and has him arrested. Subbulakshmi realizes her father’s corruption and proposes to marry Kanthaswamy. In the end, Kanthaswamy reads letters tied to a tree and decides to continue his vigilante work.
