Macherla Niyojakavargam (2022): Plot
“Siddharth Reddy is assigned as the District Collector (DC) for Palnadu district to ensure fair elections. However, he faces opposition from a corrupt politician named Rajappa, who terrorizes the district’s people. Siddharth discovers that his love interest, Swathi, wants revenge on Rajappa because her brother, who was the former DC, was killed when he ran against Rajappa in the elections. Upon learning this, Siddharth challenges Rajappa that he will ensure peaceful elections, and Swathi’s grandfather, Raghavaiah, will be a candidate. This sets off a game of cat and mouse between Siddharth and Rajappa. Eventually, Raghavaiah wins the election, and Siddharth’s actions eliminate Rajappa’s influence in the district, leading Rajappa to take his own life.”
