In the Telugu action film, “Waltair Veerayya,” Indian filmmakers aim to make each movie more visually impressive than the last. This film stars two well-known Telugu actors, Ravi Teja and Chiranjeevi. It tells the story of a notorious smuggler who teams up with the police to capture a powerful drug lord in Malaysia. The movie becomes quite grand, involving spy agencies, intense sea scenes, and the relationship between two estranged brothers.
Waltair Veerayya (2023) : Plot
Waltair Veerayya, a fisherman and smuggler, is approached by suspended police officer CI Seethapathi. Seethapathi asks him to bring back Solomon Caesar, a dangerous drug lord, from Malaysia to India. Veerayya agrees and goes to Malaysia but gets distracted by Dr. Nithya and her daughter Vaishnavi. Seethapathi’s brother-in-law tries to capture Solomon, fails, and Seethapathi takes matters into his own hands. However, Veerayya tricks Solomon into thinking they want to make a drug deal. Later, Solomon invites Veerayya to a party, where assassins attack. Veerayya saves Solomon and discovers the assassins are RAW agents led by Athidhi.
They want Solomon to return to India. Solomon agrees but later finds out it’s a trap. Veerayya kills Solomon in public, and Michael, Solomon’s brother, witnesses it. Flashback: Michael, disguised as Veerayya’s friend, supplies drugs from Veerayya’s ice factory. ACP Vikram Sagar, Veerayya’s half-brother, arrives in town to fight the drug syndicate. Sagar believes Veerayya is innocent. An accident involving cocaine kills children, and Michael frames Veerayya. Sagar tries to catch Michael but gets killed by corrupt officers. Veerayya vows to bring Michael back to India for trial.
