Anwar (2010): Plot
The story revolves around a Coimbatore bomb blast, where officer Stalin Manimaran’s team arrests Babu Mather, a local leader, as a suspect. A year later, Anwar, a youth, ends up in prison with Babu Mather’s gang. Anwar is initially fascinated by their activities but is reminded of a tragic incident from his past. In the past, Anwar’s family was killed in a blast, and his love Ayesha was arrested for it. Anwar works undercover to learn about the terrorists’ plans. Presently, he exposes their plots to the police and defeats the terrorists, seeking revenge for his family’s death. Anwar and Ayesha reunite, living quietly.
